No Vienna without Johann Strauss, no New Year’s Eve Trail without „Die Fledermaus“! Visitors can enjoy a free live transmission from Vienna State Opera of the famous operetta, directed by Otto Schenk and under the musical direction of conductor Nicholas Carter, on the LED screen in front of the opera from 19:00. During the afternoon and until midnight, before and after the live transmission, a potpourri of beloved and well-known productions of the Vienna State Opera will be projected.
